Fitness Brand Achieves 48% Increase in Organic Traffic with Site Redesign for SEO
P.volve, a fitness brand, came to us in October 2018 with an ambitious goal: Launch a redesigned version of their site, completely optimized for search engines, in just two months. We managed to grow their organic traffic during the redesign.
With the tight deadline in mind, we first developed strategies to protect the website’s current search engine rankings during the redesign. Then, we worked with developers to build a new site that generated even more organic traffic after the relaunch.
To help P.volve achieve these ambitious goals with such a tight deadline, Fire&Spark instantly got to work establishing baseline SEO metrics, performing keyword research to determine high value keywords to target, and giving the web development team recommendations on how to establish technical SEO requirements for the new website.
On the day of the site launch, we monitored vital SEO metrics, tested redirects, configured Search Console accounts, evaluated the new sitemap, and tested pages with external links. By doing all this work the day of the launch, we were able to quickly identify and remedy technical site issues that would have hurt the site’s organic traffic down the road.
Following the launch, Fire&Spark monitored page indexation, crawl rate, keyword rankings, organic traffic, domain authority, and Search Console data. By keeping such a close eye on the site, our analysis and remediation recommendations squelched issues that would have otherwise dampened organic traffic after the relaunch.
“Fire&Spark was able to achieve a 48% increase in organic sessions from Q4 2018 to Q1 2019 and an even larger increase in organic sales.”
